San Francisco Chronicle writers Lance Williams and Mark Fainaru-Wada were ordered last week by a federal judge in California to obey a subpoena and tell a grand jury who leaked them the secret testimony of Barry Bonds and other athletes caught in the BALCO government steroid investigation.
U.S. District Judge Jeffrey White told the pair, in essence, talk or go to jail.
The pair have said they'll go to jail.
