Chris Young hardly laboured in his first spring training outing. The all-star ace will leave that part to his wife.
Young pitched two innings Monday and the San Diego Padres beat the Milwaukee Brewers 12-4 in Phoenix.
On Tuesday, his wife, Liz, was to be induced into labour with the couple's first child. The birth was to take place in Scottsdale, Ariz.
