Well, it's months later...but the deal is finally done (pending physicals).

Pirates land LaRoche in four-player trade

The Pirates have reached agreement with the Atlanta Braves on a four-player trade that will bring first baseman Adam LaRoche in exchange for closer Mike Gonzalez, and swap two Class A prospects.

Shortstop Brent Lillibridge, one of the Pirates' most promising prospects, will go to Atlanta, and the Braves will send Class A outfielder Jamie Romak.

The transaction is pending physicals and neither team will comment until those are complete, but multiple sources provided confirmation.
