Ryan Doumit returned to the Pirates on Wednesday from a rehab stint for a torn left hamstring, raising questions about the catcher/first baseman's role with the team entering the 2007 season.

Left fielder Jason Bay isn't going anywhere.

Neither is shortstop Jack Wilson nor third baseman Freddy Sanchez -- though Sanchez could conceivably move to second to make room for either Jose Castillo or Jose Bautista at third.
