Welp, Brett Myers pitched well today, and made two mistakes, unfortunantly they were both homeruns. Then, Ryan Madson, gives up a homerun to Renteria (his second of the game), and the game is over. Phillies lose 5-3.

Another come from behind win for the Braves as they beat the Phillies 3-2 in 11 innings. Scott Thorman homerun in the top of the 11th, Rowand strikes out to end the game for the Phillies.
Looking down the road, if this is how the team is going to play all season, we're in for a long year. The MVP, with runners on third and second swinging at the first pitch he see's, move him back to fourth, right now. And if this is any indication of how the phillies pen is going to pitch this season, we're in for a wild ride.

Good to see I endured three and a half hours of cold yesterday to go see the Phillies, and self-proclaimed pitcher, Adam Eaton stink it up. Can someone please tell Ryan Howard and Carlos Ruiz they dont have to swing at the first pith, there has to be at least 3 before you're out there guys.
Phillies lose, but it's closer than it looks...8-4

First time Myers pitches great, no run support, this game, run support early, not so great pitching by Myers, Phillies lose...8-5

Interesting game for sure. I'm not so hot on the lineup shake up, Jimmy should still be lead off . It seems like Manuel took those Rollins power jokes for real. Hopefully Utley has found his swing again, get the offense back on track with Howard coming back shortly. As for Hamels, that was just beautiful, 15 strike outs, granted against a struggling Reds line up but still the starting pitching has done their end this year.

Although it worked out last night, Charlie has to stop taking Burrell out in the 7th inning for Born, it could have bit them in the butt last night, but thankfully didnt.
