On February 15, the Phillies began their spring advertising with a light-hearted new campaign featuring players and fans living with the effects of the contagion known as "Goosebumps."
Among the television spots created are six commercials that include players' Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, Cole Hamels, Aaron Rowand and manager Charlie Manuel. Subsequent commercials will feature Brett Myers, Chase Utley, Shane Victorino, the voice of Harry Kalas, and other players, filmed at Citizens Bank Park.
"Being in the park and watching great plays by a great team is all about that feeling of possibility, of apprehension followed by joy," said Jo-Anne Levy-Lamoreaux, Manager of Advertising & Internet Services. "The fans feel it, the players feel it, and we felt it could be encapsulated in a single word: Goosebumps."
Fans can now view and vote for their favorite spots at

The campaign, which was inspired by a 2006 commercial produced by Phillies Emmy award-winning producer Dan Stephenson, will continue throughout March and April with outdoor and online advertising, radio and more television.
The 2007 commercials were written by Philadelphia gender marketing agency bubble and produced by Rubberband with NFL Films of Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.
