You won't miss a minute of Phillies action this year as 162 games will be broadcast on both television and radio for the 2007 season, announced Rob Brooks, Phillies Manager of Broadcasting.
Of the 162 games to be televised, 151 will appear locally: 101 games on Comcast SportsNet, a Phillies rightsholder since 1998, 43 on The CW Philly 57, five on CN8 and two on CBS3. CBS3 will televise the season opener on April 2 vs. the Atlanta Braves at 1:05 p.m. and the Fourth of July game vs. the Houston Astros at 2:05 p.m.
The remaining 11 games will be televised locally as well as nationally: nine on FOX and two on ESPN. ESPN has selected the Phillies games on May 6 at San Francisco and July 15 vs. St. Louis for their Sunday night telecasts. Under Major League Baseball's agreements with FOX and ESPN, additional games may be selected to be televised on those two networks.
