An exception was made for Ryan Howard last night.
The Howitzer was an honored guest before Game 4. While the Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals were waiting out the rain in their respective clubhouses, Howard was down the hall in Busch Stadium, receiving a pretty neat award named after a pretty neat guy.
Howard is this year's National League winner of the Hank Aaron Award. Derek Jeter of the Yankees was the American League winner.
