Dwight Howard to the Lakers
Quote:
A four-team trade that would send Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers is complete, multiple sources told ESPN on Thursday night.
A source with direct knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com's Marc Stein the Lakers will receive Howard, the Denver Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the three teams.
In addition, the Magic will be getting other pieces, including 76ers No. 1 draft pick Moe Harkless, a source told Stein.

So we got both Nash and Dwight without having to give up Pau. That's ****ing awesome. Love what Bynum did for us and I would've been fine keeping him on the team, but welcome to the Lakers, Dwight! Cannot wait for the season to start!

Actually, I slept just fine. I'll be really excited once his back heals and he's out on the court.

I think it will be. Outside of this season, Dwight never had any injury concerns. I know backs are risky, but I think he'll be fine. Lakers probably don't do this deal if they're concerned about it.

I was surprised that they kept Gasol. I figured Pau and Bynum would be gone if Dwight ended up in LA.
The Magic turned down better deals to get the worst one, IMO. lol

It kills me as a Laker fan to watch this season unfold.
However even as a potential #8 seed, who would want to draw the lakers in the playoffs?

Well he's kind of had it in me ever since i accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly" and replace "dog" with "son".
