Default MLB announces Friday's game times

Major League Baseball has announced Friday's game times, with a frigid Game 3 of the American League series between the A's and Tigers moved up to 4:30 p.m. ET at Comerica Park. Game 2 of the National League series between the Cardinals and Mets is now scheduled for 8:05 p.m. ET at Shea Stadium.

Fans who hold NLCS tickets that say "Home Game 1" will be able to use their tickets to Friday's game only. Fans planning to attend tonight's 8:19 p.m. ET NLCS game must use tickets that say "Home Game 2." That is a result of the rainout that postponed the scheduled NLCS opener on Wednesday.

All remaining postseason games are televised live on FOX and can be heard live with the MLB.com Postseason Package, which also includes the capability to view every postseason game on a computer after it has been played.

"Major League Baseball took many factors into consideration in making its decision on Friday's game times, primarily the weather in both League Championship Series cities," said Richard Levin, spokesperson for Major League Baseball. "With the weather forecast in Detroit a major concern, MLB felt that moving the game at Comerica Park to 4:30 p.m. (ET) provided the best window for the game to be played in its entirety."

The Tigers, trying to make it five consecutive World Series with at least one Wild Card representative, have won five straight postseason games and take a 2-0 lead back to Detroit in their best-of-seven ALCS against the American League West champions. It will be much colder than Tigers fans found during their last series against the Yankees, with a forecast of 40 degrees and possible showers at game time.

Jeff Weaver starts for the Cardinals tonight against Tom Glavine of the Mets, and skies are expected to be clear at game time with a temperature around 60 degrees. The first travel day in this series has been lost, so after Friday's Game 2, the teams will fly to St. Louis for Game 3 on Saturday night at Busch Stadium.

GO ANGELS

Well he's kind of had it in me ever since i accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly" and replace "dog" with "son".
