Cairo is a big loss because of the variety of positions he can play. They also recieved Betetmit though who also has put up some good numbers for the Yankees and is only 25 years old. Giambi I think won't be here after this year as he is the second most highest payed hitter on the team at 20 mil. You don't need a guy like that who isn't consistent doesn't have fielding or speed and when you have guys like Betitment or Phillips that can play the position for lower cost.
