Alex Rodriguez was again the catalyst of the Yanks offense on Wednesday, roping the go-ahead two-run double in the seventh in New York's fifth straight win. Roger Clemens allowed one run over six innings and Mariano Rivera got five outs for his 15th save of the year.

Shaun Marcum had the Yankees handcuffed over the first six innings on Wednesday, but the right-hander ran into trouble in the decisive seventh inning. Alex Rios went 4-for-5, but the Jays left 13 runners on base. Toronto have dropped the first three games of its four-game series vs. New York.
