After closer Billy Wagner allowed an unearned run in the ninth inning for his first blown save of the season, All-Star David Wright came through with a clutch game-winning RBI single in the 11th inning vs. the Bucs.

Pirates:

The Pirates rallied for a run each in the eighth and ninth inning to tie the game, but Bucs reliever John Van Benschoten surrendered a game-winning RBI single to David Wright in the 11th inning to drop the series opener.
