yeh like look at boston. they have the original dirt dogs (now just wake and tek), the experienced ace in the pen (schilling), 2 of the best sluggers in the game in the middle of the line-up, and yet still manage to get enough youth in there to even everything out. the yanks are relying to much on history then present which is why theyre heavily critisized. but lets not make this another yankee bash, back to the topic at hand

I think ARod has a great year this year ... but I don't think the Yankees will make the playoffs.

While David Wright says he wants ARod .. I just don't see it happening. I think the Yankees will try to sign and trade him if they have any thoughts of him wanting to opt out of his contract.

Even the Mets have to have some limit on cash. They have a ton of high priced guys right now ... adding ARod could break the bank!
