Pedro Martinez still views Boston as his home away from home, even if he had no plans to stay this week at the pad he owns here, because all the furniture has been relocated to his house in Greenwich, Conn.
"I need to probably start putting it on sale," Martinez said of his Massachusetts residence.
The Mets open a three-game series tonight at Fenway Park with Alay Soler facing Jon Lester, but the electricity Martinez generates promises to steal the spotlight. He is back for the first time since helping end the Red Sox's 86-year championship drought in 2004, and will take the mound tomorrow night against Josh Beckett.
