And I'm sorry you got hurt. My husband hurt his knee in high school and back in those days a knee injury and you were just out of luck!

Yup I got my knee blown out and I did 2 years of rehab and still to this day I feel uncomfortable at times.

My husband didn't do anything for his, but he came from a poor family and I don't really think they could have afforded anything like that! My late father in law was blind and worked at what was called a blind stand. Those were places in public buildings that people could get snacks, etc. But there was no insurance or anything like that

I really admired him for doing what he could. Back in his day there wasn't much done for blind people.

I went to the Vandy vs MTSU game last night. What a game. 1-0 Vandy win. Sonny did not pitch due to being scheduled to pitch friday vs SC. But I did get his autograph which is on display in my sons room on his baseball shelf. And I was so proud my boy got a foul ball. He was so happy.
