BLACK SOX 1919

Pat Casey was named Coach of the Year. He led the underdog Oregon State Beavers to the CWS for the second year in a row (OSU was the only returning team from the year before). They had their backs to the wall losing to Miami the first game but overcame that and went to the championship. After they lost the first game Pat Casey out coached NC Tarheels' coach John Fox and won the Beavers first CWS chamionship in Omaha since the 1950's.

Congrats Coach Casey.
