Edwin Encarnacion and Paul Bako greeted the struggling closer with consecutive homers to even things at three. After Scott Hatteberg worked a walk, Milwaukee manager Ned Yost had seen enough of Gagne and called on Salomon Torres. Final Score: Philadelphia 5, New York 4
The Phillies' Chase Utley hammered two home runs and tallied four RBI, and Pedro Feliz's pinch-hit solo shot in the seventh inning proved to be the difference in Philadelphia's 5-4 victory over the New York Mets at Citizens Bank Park. New York rallied from a four-run deficit to score four of its own in the sixth, but Mets reliever Pedro Feliciano couldn't hold on to the lead.
