Kegstands and guitar hero...gotta love it. Everyone who's criticizing him needs to stop being so judgemental. David Wells pitched a perfect game and has had an illustrious carreer. Babe Ruth is one of the greatest baseball players to ever live. John Kruk was an all star calibur player. Come on now...give the kid a break

While the players you named certainly had their faults, none of them were necessarily caught in the act of doing something this stupid. Moreover, Babe Ruth played in an era where stuff like this was kept on the hush-hush... plus, conditioning wasn't nearly as important then as it is now.

Also, David Wells hasn't had an illustrious career - he had a solid career, bolstered by a perfect game and a couple of above average seasons.

im probably not old enough to have seen babe ruths kegstand pictures but the situation at hand is far different. Zumaya has proven to be an injury prone player, he has been proen to not take care of his body and because of it his body cannot take the strain of a full major league season. regardless of whether he should or shouldnt b partying he needs to condition his body first and im sure kegstands arenet good for his surgically repaired shoulder.
