Clemens investigation to include Canseco

NEW YORK - Jose Canseco is expected to by interviewed by an IRS agent who is aiding in the perjury investigation of Roger Clemens, the Daily News reported Saturday.

Canseco's lawyer, Robert Saunooke, told the New York newspaper that IRS agent Jeff Novitzky has asked to meet with the former Toronto Blue Jays slugger. No date has been set for the meeting.

''We'll get together whenever,'' Saunooke told the Daily News.

Why would'nt Canseco tell the truth? What does he really have to lose. What he has said so far has been pretty much on the mark.

I'm really at the point where I just don't care. This steroids fiasco has been blown way out of proportion - the time and energy being spent will be all for naught as any attorney would be able to get Clemens off the hook with a slap on the wrists.

Clemens is already guilty in public opinion - and that will likely keep him out of the Hall of Fame. This is a greater punishment than any court can give him.
