Hello,

I am wondering if anyone knows a website that had MLB rankings that are NOT done according to fantasy value? In other words, ranking according to how they actually are in the real world of baseball.

If you Google 'MLB power rankings' you will find a glut of what you're looking for. Here are a couple examples:

Guess I should have been more specific. I appreciate your quick reply and help with this but mlb power rankings gives me rankings by team. I am actually looking for player rankings. I know there are a million of them for fantasy but I'd like to find one that is actually real world based.

Aah, okay - that's a whole different ballgame.

I, for one, don't really see a great deal of difference between a player's 'fantasy' worth and 'actual' worth. A player's contribution to a team is largely based on their offensive worth - a great hitter that cannot field a lick (such as Hanley Ramirez) is much more valuable to a team than a great fielder that cannot produce with the stick (such as Omar Vizquel). I do understand, though, what you are getting at.

ESPN does player ratings that factor in defense - here.

CBS Sports does something similar - here.

The National Pastime Almanac ranks players with all sorts of different categories and is just a great resource for most things baseball - here.

Other than things such as this I am not quite sure what to give you. I hope these suggestions are more in line with what you're looking for, though.
