You're gonna catch hell for that one from some people around here. lol.

I don't think hes overrated, i mean the guy hit .342 with 15 HR's, 78 RBI's, 41 2B's, only K'ed 54 times, 165 hits and 57 XBH's in only his second major league season. Also played pretty good defense with only 9 errors and a .984 Fielding%. He could do with walking more often though as he only had 18 in 122 games. Even though I hate the Yankees with every fiber of my being i know that they, unfortunately, are a very good team.

I can understand why you would think that way with the second basemen you have in PA with Chase Utley, Freddy Sanchez, and Jose Castillo being some damn good second basemen.

I dont say he's overrated becuase he plays in New York, I simply call him overrated becuase I have heard many people say he is better than Utley, which simply is not true, Philadelphia bias or not, Utley is miles ahead of any other second baseman in the leauge, and to hear anyone anywhere say otherwise is ludacris. Thats why I called him overrated.

I'm not taking anything away from Cano, but honestly, even if I was living in say San Fransisco I wouldnt say Robbie Cano is better than Chase, and I actually think Brian Roberts and Robinson Cano are very close in secondbase rankings....

Here's a question, Ian Kinsler, under or overrated?

I'm not going to tear you to shreds on this post but lets remember that Cano played just one full year at his position. He came in 3rd in AVG aswell and is an above average infielder. I'll leave it at that...

I'll go a step further and say Cano may very shortly become the best second baseman in baseball.

I doubt that strongly. Utley is a far better power hitter than Cano is. Utley also plays his ass off the whole game and hustles every play. From what i've seen Utley is slightly better defensively.

Cano makes every play look routine, while Utley might look like he hustles his ass off every play. Cano just makes things look so easy out there.
