Well he's kind of had it in me ever since i accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly" and replace "dog" with "son".
Detroit can beat any Yankee starter, as they proved v. Mussina yesterday.
Every Tiger starter (except Robertson perhaps) can beat NY, or at least hold them off long enough to outscore them.
as i look at it detroit didnt beat mussina, yakees beat themselves. they had great cahnces but didnt capitalize. mussina was great, yakees hitters didnt show up

Mussina gave up 4 runs in 7 innings, not a quality start, although that often gets you the win with the lineup behind him. However, there will be some days, like yesterday when the Yanks don't capitalize.
My point is that the Tigers will not lie down for anyone. They can and have beaten good pitchers like Mussina. The Yanks don't have a pitcher right now who is unbeatable by the Tigers when he is "on". A Randy Johnson may be an exception, but he is seldom "on" these days.
The only reason that detroit is in the playoffs is because chicago stunk during the season. detroit belongs out of the playoffs along with kansas city.like i said before if detroit wins this series then the playoffs are fixed.

You have to remmber that the commish has all ready stated on how great the detroit tigers season is for baseball.and if they do win this series than it is fixed.there is no way that detroit has a chance to win this series against new york unless it is fixed.
