just curious...why is everyone picking joe torre? i honestly dont think he is the best mananger...im not saying he isnt a good one but i can think of several ones better than him....

Yeh that came from a little biased opinion, but La Russa has the most wins for active managers and is IMO the best choice. Pujols is great now, and has the potential to be the best to ever play the game.

Excellent point. Me being a Yankee fan I thought the same thing. SUre he's a players manager but he has his flaws..... I'll be the first to admit it.

i will follow the path of many by chosing their favorite teams manager,,,
im gonna say bobby cox and Andruw Jones....Andruw Jones is the first brave since hank aaron to hit 40 Hrs in consecutive seasons...also he has 8 gold gloves and will win another one this year...o and i forgot to mention...hes not over 30 yet...i believe hes 29...and for bobby cox, can we say 14 years in a row?

Baker did some good in San Francisco

I said before the start of this year, and before Girardi signed with the Marlins, I said that the Cubs should let go of Baker, and get Girardi. Hell let the Marlins get Baker

Yeah, Joe Girardi is one of my favorite players ever, and he is doing very good with what he has in Florida. I mean a .500 average with like an average player age of 23? Average experience in league like 0.7? HOW CAN YOU NOT RECOGNIZE THIS GUYS MANAGERIAL TALENT?!?!?!? And he's an ex-Cub and knows how the cubs organization runs....all in all....i was right...and you were wrong lol joking...seriously though...It's kinda freaky, I said get Girardi, then the next year (hopefully) they get Girardi. I said get Dempster, then they got Dempster...I was totally freaked out by the dempster thing...well i really got off-topic...back on topic..CUBS FIRE DUSTY BAKER AND HIRE JOE GIRARDI...he is the Cubs' future!
