I would very much like to moderate the Dodgers thread. I feel that I am very qualified, despite not posting here for more than several minutes.

Do I have what it takes?

I have been a huge Dodgers fan since the respective heydays of Piazza, Karros, and Mondesi.

I have been posting actively on several prominent forums (e.g. IGN) for the better part of the last four years - predominantly in baseball threads, mostly 'Official Dodgers' type threads.

I have been a moderator on several message boards, including film websites, sports websites, and a few general ones (e.g. Something Awful).

Am I a leader?

I have been a moderator on other websites.

I covered the sports beat for my high school's newsletter and my college newspaper

I was a captain on my little league team and my high school varsity team; I currently help out a little league team in my area.

You seem to know a lot about the Dodgers which is great, but maybe sticking around for a while and showing your dedicated to the site first before your promoted to a moderator? This site is looking for dedicated moderators who will stick around and try to contribute to the forum as much as possible, so showing you can do that will help.

That's fine - I don't want to rock the boat or anything. I can promise, though, that I will be around for the long run. I would also like to create some sort of sticky, an official 2008 thread of some sort... if I were to create that sometime would someone be able to sticky it for me? Or, on the flipside, could I even create it?

If there will be a chance that I could be a moderator sometime before the season starts I have big plans for the Dodger subforum - however, I will certainly be active regardless.
