He makes some of the most amazing throws and is the best at the jump throws he's famous for. The catch and throw to peg Giambi, or the dive into the stands. It's all great but he is very limited to his range. Look at another teams SS and you'll see the range Jeter lacks, but then you'll also see intangibles that only Jeter has.
