These, threads about how A-Rod sucks or is overrated is getting a bit old now. Who cares? Look at his career stats and compare them to anyone else and ask yourself how good he really is. He's having an off year thats still better then 99% of all the other 3rd basemans in career year, for gods sake.....

i agree 100 percent. Every player has an off year once in a while. Because the yankees have so many stars, people dont see how good he actually is. Why dont the yanks trade him to Kansas City or sumthin like that and see how vital he is to a team.

agreed 100%....once again i would like to state that i hate the yankees so i want everyone to know that its hard for me to say anything good about a rod but i cant listen to people say that a rod is over rated....

What did we expect out of a boston fan? thanks for your biased opinion....all im saying is if being the fastest player to hit 450 hr and being the reigning mvp makes someone over rated than i dont know whose not over rated...and last year he only had 12 errors in 162 games....and that being his first year playing 3B...pretty amazing....yeah we all know he hasnt been his usual self this year but when he gets back to himself yall all will look dumb...i promise...
