Q: Describe what the city was like in '86.
A: Like I've never seen it before. The Yankees won here all those years, and it wasn't the same as when the Mets won, 'cause I think the Mets had just been kind of a doormat for so long, and had so many bad years, and I just think that when the Mets win, it's once in a blue moon, and all the National League fans which are Met fans just come out of the closet. This town was electric.
