You can keep Hank Aaron and Roberto Clemente just that since they are both Rightfielders one will play and the other sits on the bench UNLESS you play with AL rules and make one of them your Designated Hitter.

So Hamilton...you have a game that allows you to change the roster with legends and simulate the teams?

Yes it's called OLD TIME BASEBALL....It's got every player and team since 1870 to the present...even includes the Federal League and Negro League Allstars....you can create your own teams, make up new team names and select new jersey colors or use existing ones or team jerseys from the past....current stadiums and the old classic ones that are no longer around like the Polo Grounds for example....when you simulate a season or a game they have different eras like the DEAD BALL ERA or what they term the GOLDEN AGE ERA....In a League like we are doing here with these alltime greats you can have it so the CD-Rom game averages out the eras because in some eras like in the 1920s and 1930s the homerun and rbi totals really went UP and then 1940s they went down and the pitchers dominated in the DEAD BALL era........

When I make up alltime rosters for this game I have at least 10-pitchers on my team....if I'm for example putting together the Alltime Cleveland Indians team I have 5-starters and use at least 3 more starters from the Indians past who I have work as middle relievers and the last 2 remaining spots on the Pitching staff goes to the top 2 Relievers in Indians past, one is the Closer and the other I designate as the set-up guy.

I'm not too sure if they sell the game any more....I bought almost 10-years ago here in Hamilton Ontario at an electronics and computer store....the first one I bought was OLD TIME BASEBALL made by Stormfront Studios and had all the teams stadiums and players from 1870 to about 1979.....and then if you wanted to get the more recent players from 1980 onwards you had to go buy another version called Tony Larusso baseball where then you could add the players, teams and stadiums from the newer version to the older ones with all the classic players and stadiums...this way for example when I assembled the Alltime Team Canada baseball club I was able then to make the Skydome (now Rogers Centre) in Toronto their home stadium.....in this fictional League with Team Canada I included the Negro League allstars as another team and the Alumni teams of the Yankees, Dodgers, Red Sox, Tigers, Indians, Athletics, Giants, Cardinals, Braves and Cubs.....so on the Yankees team you had guys like Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Reggie Jackson....on the Negor League allstars you had guys like Satchel Paige, Josh Gibson, Buck Leonard and Biz Mackey, etc, etc.......

One summer when I had alot of time on my hands I created yet ANOTHER fictional League where I had 12 teams based on the players astrological signs with the Alltime greats assembled on them.....so with AQUARIUS for example you had Babe Ruth, Nolan Ryan, Hank Aaron, Jackie Robinson, etc, etc....and on team LEO for example we had guys like Christy Mathewson, Barry Bonds, Carl Yastrzemski, Roberto Clemente,....on team SAGITTARIUS you had guys like Ty Cobb, Joe Dimaggio, Josh Gibson, Johhny Bench, etc, etc.....(I was careful here to only mention the players that have been selected in our Alltime draft).

With this game there are variables that you can have like for instance whether it's a day or night game...some players play much better at night and others in the daytime....and weather variables as well like wind speed and wind direction....alot of fun this game and I've spent many hours with it.
