I bet the Yankees $41 Million outfield is more that the whole Marlins organization. Come on, I mean maybe no salary cap, but there should be a limit on how much you can spend.

i hate the yankees... i mean they practically have no salary cap... they can just go around and get who ever they want or need... it makes me sick... they have a stacked lineup and they still are not goin to win there division...lol

yeah its going to be close IMO...especially when the yanks get matsui and sheffield back...it will be tough for the soxs to deal with them but right now first place is up for grabs...

The Yanks need to be controlled money-wise. It's just surprising that with all the money they have they aren't even in 1st place. I don't understand why they didn't make a deal for a pitcher rather than an outfielder...once Sheffield and Matsui come back, what are they going to do?

i so agree... i mean when sheffield and matsui get back there OF will be back to full strength so why go after an OF when they are struggling pitching the ball...this was a good move picking up a better and younger OF but the should have went after a pitcher b/c that is one of there flaws...
