Default Bedard gets first win since May 21 (AP)

Erik Bedard pitched seven strong innings to earn his first victory since May 21, and the Baltimore Orioles used a three-run seventh to beat the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 5-2 Tuesday night. Eric Byrnes homered for the Orioles, who improved to 3-2 under interim manager Sam Perlozzo. With the score 2-all, Chris Gomez led off the seventh with a single off Scott Kazmir (6-8).
