The Gary-Southshore Railcats will be taking on the Calgary vipers in the Northern League finals tomorrow.

Gary got to the finals by beating the Winnipeg Goldeyes 3 games to 2, while Calgary swept the defending champion Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks 3-0.

This is Gary's 3rd straight finals appearance (they won in 2005 & lost last year to Fargo)

The Calgary Vipers won game #1 of the NL finals, by a score of 7-6. Carlos Duncun hit a 2 run shot in the bottom of the ninth to win it for Calgary, and send 2,194 fans home happy.

Tonight (Wednesday, Sept.12), NL strikeout king Willie Glen (12-1) takes to the mound against the Viper's Jeff Groeger(3-3).

Sorry for the delay...

Well gary has come back and won the Northern League Championships 3 games to 2. They were down 2 games to 1, but won the last 2 games to claim the title.
