Remember Doc Brooks from the Colorado Rockies. He also played at UGA. Since baseball cracked down on the substance abuse, this guy got screwed. I think he should be AAA if not the Majors again. As of now he is playing under Wally Backman for the South Georgia Peanuts of the South Coast League. He is a great and exciting player that is leading the league in almost every category. I know he has a 50 game suspension tacked on if he does get signed by an organization, but there could be some strings pulled. Give this guy a second chance. He's da man.
