Quote:
It was a night to remember for left-hander Brad Turney and everyone who got to see what he did Friday night.
Turney, 28, tied a minor league record by playing all nine defensive positions for the Alexandria Aces Friday night. More important, he retired the side while pitching in the ninth to pick up his first professional win in Alexandria's 3-2 victory over Edinburg to close the first half of the independent United League season. Turney made the final unassisted out, too, in the top of the ninth, fielding a grounder by pinch-hitter Bric Steed, and beating him to first base.
When Bryan Sabatella scored the winning run in the bottom of the ninth on Kevin MacIlvane's RBI single, Turney almost beat him to home plate to give him a teary-eyed bear hug.

Even though most of you probably haven't heard of the Aces, they are my local Indy team. I was at the game last night and as mentioned in the article, Turney is a UT player and rarely plays. He is a good guy too as I met him last year and got his autograph and I just wanted to let everyone know on here about this.
