STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Ports have announced that individual game tickets for the 2007 season, including Opening Night, will go on-sale to the general public on Saturday, March 17. Individual tickets for July 3 and the 2007 California/Carolina League All-Star Game will go on-sale at a later date. The season will be highlighted by a promotional schedule that features many new and returning acts, special guests and theme nights.
Individual seat prices at Banner Island Ballpark for the 2007 season are as follows: MVP Box: $10, Field Box: $7, Sprint Home Run Hill: $5.
The Ports Box Office will be open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on March 17 for walk-up sales. Fans can also purchase their tickets online at
Stockton Ports or by phone at (209) 644-1900. Tickets for all Ports home games, including the All-Star Game, are on sale now through Ports season ticket and mini-plan packages, and can be purchased either in person at Banner Island Ballpark or over the phone.
The Ports have also released their promotional schedule for the upcoming season. This 2007 promotional schedule will again feature a number of unique giveaways, as well as special performances and eight post-game fireworks nights.
The backdrop for the schedule will be weekday promotions Sunday-Thursday. The popular "Sprint $1 Sunday's" will kick off the week. Throughout the season, fans can visit any local Sprint retailer and pick up a voucher, good for $1 Sprint Home Run Hill tickets for all Sunday home games. Monday's will be "Monday Madness" sponsored by KWIN, where fans can purchase two Field Box tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for just $16. On "Two-for-Tuesday" presented by Carl's Jr., fans will be able to pick up a coupon redeemable for two-for-one Field Box tickets to Tuesday home games at local Carl's Jr. restaurants. For the second straight season, Wednesday's will feature "Baseball BINGO" presented by Food-4-Less and Rancho San Miguel. All fans entering the ballpark receive a Baseball BINGO card, and the first fan to score a BINGO on their BINGO card will be awarded a grand prize. "Thirsty Thursdays" presented by Valley Brew Family Restaurant, will feature $1 12 oz. domestic draft beer until 8:30 p.m., and $1 12 oz. soda's will also be available throughout the game.
Opening Weekend (April 5-7) will once again be sponsored by Jackson Rancheria Casino and Hotel. On Opening Night, fans will be treated to a post-game fireworks extravaganza. On Friday, April 6, Ports 2007 magnet schedules will be distributed to all fans passing through the gates. On Saturday, April 7, fans will receive a commemorative All-Star logo baseball, all courtesy of Jackson Rancheria Casino and Hotel.
Wednesday, April 11 will be Military Night, presented by KAT Country 103.3 FM.
Friday, April 20 will feature post-game fireworks, sponsored by Food-4-Less.
The Ports will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo on Saturday, May 5, with a special jersey auction sponsored by AARP and KWIN 97.7 FM. Fans will be able to enjoy live traditional Mexican music and get a experience the holiday as if they were 'South of the Border!"
The "Reggy Entertainment Show" featuring Reggy--The Purple Party Dude will come to town on Friday, May 4. Fans can watch Reggy and his cast of mascot friends dish out laughs throughout the game.
On Sunday, May 6, the Ports will welcome former A's great John "Blue Moon" Odom to the ballpark courtesy of AM 970 ESPN Radio. Odom will be available to sign autographs for fans as part of a meet-and-greet session.
Friday, May 18 will be City of Stockton Night. Fans passing through the gates will receive a free set of Ports BBQ Tools, courtesy of Royce Farms BBQ.
May 19 will mark the second annual Ports Wine Festival, with post-game fireworks to follow the game courtesy of Jackson Rancheria Casino and Hotel.
St. Joseph's Medical Center and KAT Country 103.3 will be sponsoring the first ever Ports Pink Night on Sunday, May 20. The Ports will be wearing commemorative pink jerseys during the game, and auctioning them off for charity after the game. Proceeds will go to the St. Joseph's Foundation benefiting the Mobile Mammography Unit.
Race Car Night is new to the promo schedule this season, and will be held on Friday, June 1. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a free Matchbox Car.
June 2 is Girl Scout Night, with special guest Krazy George to fire up the crowd. Krazy George is a world-renowned professional cheerleader, and the inventor of "The Wave." Girl Scout troops can sign up to spend the night on the field at Banner Island Ballpark following the game.
Food-4-Less will be sponsoring post-game fireworks on Friday, June 8.
The Silver and Black will make a mid-summer appearance at Banner Island Ballpark, as Raiders Night, sponsored by The Hawk 104.1 FM will be held on Saturday, June 9. The Raiderettes will be in attendance, and it will also be WingFest 2007 presented by AM 970 ESPN Radio.
The Ports' second annual Root Beer Float Night, presented by Super Store Industries, will take place on Sunday, July 1. Fans will be able to purchase Root Beer Float mugs and fill them up as much as they want, with proceeds to benefit a charity to be determined. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will also receive a Catcher's Mitt, compliments of Tony's Cotton Candy.
The Ports will hold their Independence Day Extravaganza on Tuesday, July 3. The evening will conclude with a sensational post-game fireworks show sponsored by Comcast.
Stockton Ports Faith Night, presented by G&L Brock Construction, will be held on Saturday, July 7. The first 1,000 fans inside the ballpark will receive a commemorative Samson Bobblehead Doll courtesy of G&L Brock Construction.
On Sunday, July 8, Ports Beach Towels will be given away courtesy of Central State Credit Union.
Bike Night, presented by The Hawk 104.1 FM, will be held on Friday, July 20. In addition to post-game fireworks presented by Food-4-Less, there will be a commemorative Ports jersey auction following the game.
The Ports will be saluting the classic American TV show "Happy Days" on Saturday, July 21. Fans will be able to receive a one-of-a-kind Fonzie Bobble-Arm Doll when they arrive at the ballpark.
Back-2-School Night will take place on Friday, August 3. Ports Lunch Boxes will be given away, courtesy of KWIN 97.7 FM.
On Saturday, August 4, there will be a post-game fireworks show sponsored by Jackson Rancheria Casino and Hotel.
The third in a series of four Splash Bobblehead Dolls will be given away to the first 1,000 fans on Sunday, August 5, courtesy of Delk Pest Control. This year's version will feature a Bobble-Belly as opposed to the traditional Bobble-Head.
The ever-popular Zooperstars! will be in attendance for Boy Scout Night on Friday, August 17. Fans can enjoy the antics of hilarious inflatable characters such as Ken Giraffey, Jr., Roger Clamens, and Harry Canary. It's also Boy Scout Night, where Boy Scout troops can sign up to set up tents on the field following the game and spend the night at Banner Island Ballpark.
Saturday, August 18 will be Youth Sports Night, where the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a free Ports Logo Football.
On Sunday, August 19, the Ports will celebrate their affiliation with the Oakland Athletics on A's Night, presented by AM 970 ESPN Radio. A's legend Bert Campaneris will be in attendance to sign autographs and greet Ports fans as they arrive at Banner Island Ballpark.
The critically acclaimed Christian rock band Hawk Nelson will be playing a live post-game concert on Wednesday, August 22, as part of their Faith Night's Tour. The concert will be presented by KJOY 99.3 FM.
Big Valley Ford will be sponsoring a Ports Replica Jersey T-Shirt Giveaway on Friday, August 31.
The final post-game fireworks show of the season will take place on Saturday, September 1, sponsored by Food-4-Less.
Baseball is Education will once again be featured in the months of April and May, with two games starting at 10:35 a.m. The Ports will welcome local school children who take in an early game at Banner Island Ballpark and learn about many of the educational aspects of baseball. The first game will take place on April 25 when the defending Cal-League Champion Inland Empire 66ers come to town. The second will be on May 9 when the Ports take on North Division rival San Jose.
