APPLEBEE'S PARK (Lexington, KY.) - The Lexington Legends launched their brand new website on Thursday, March 1. It's the first design change for the Legends website. The new site will feature some exciting changes to go along with some of the popular features of the original site.
Video streaming stands out as the most impressive improvement. Legends fans all around the world will now be able to watch all of the home games at Applebee's Park on their home computer!
"We have always tried to be an industry leader in our approach to marketing the Lexington Legends," said Legends GM Kevin Kulp. "We did some really cutting edge stuff with our original website like the introduction of video and feel we can add a whole new dimension by stream casting our home games."
Just as important, Legends fans will also find it much easier to navigate online ticket purchasing. The new design will allow fans to find out the latest information on season tickets, mini plans, and group outings. Current season ticket holders can also manage their accounts easily from Lexington Legends: Home.
"Buying online can be intimidating and frustrating," said Renee Kulp, Director of Ticket Operations. "We think that our fans will find buying tickets from our site very user friendly and hassle free."
Fans from around the country will also find an expanded online pro shop. This feature will help any Legend fan find the right souvenir when they can't make it to Applebee's Park.
The diehard baseball fan will be pleased with the expanded statistics and the South Atlantic League standings. Fans can now follow the Legends throughout the season without ever leaving the Legends website.
The new site also features updates on player awards, all-time rosters, former Legends in the Major Leagues and the Legends Hall of Fame.

Rome, GA - The Rome Braves along with Classic Rock KZ 106 and Miller Lite announce that southern rock legends , The Marshall Tucker Band, will headline the All-Star Concert at the Forum in Rome on Monday June18th. Joining the Marshall Tucker Band will be country-blues artist Lee Roy Parnell and singer-song writer Randall Bramblett.
"This is a great lineup of entertainment to compliment the All-Star Extravaganza on Monday night. Fans can come early for the parade on Broad Street and then go to the forum for a great rock n roll show," says Rome General Manager Michael Dunn.
Compared to Southern rock pioneers and label-mates The Allman Brothers Band, The Marshall Tucker Band had a more country-rock feel, with the flute being a key lead instrument in their sound. "Can't You See", "Fire on the Mountain", and "This Ol' Cowboy" are among their songs that received much radio airplay, while "Heard It in a Love Song" made it to #14 as a single. The Marshall Tucker Band still plays up to 150 shows in a year. They are currently with Ramblin' Records.
Artist Lee Roy Parnell, the Texas-born country hit-maker with a streak of southern rock 'n' soul 'n' blues in his system, has signed with Universal South Records and released his first new album in four years, Back To The Well. Parnell's second album, Love Without Mercy, in 1992 was the most successful of his career, containing three top-10 hits, namely the title track, "Tender Moment," and "What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am."
Randall Bramblett has kept great company over the years. From his early career with Capricorn Records (Cowboy, Gregg Allman, Sea Level) to his more recent tours with Widespread Panic, Traffic, Bonnie Raitt, and Steve Winwood, Bramblett has worked with the best in the business and generates a tremendous buzz and rave reviews wherever his band performs.
Individual concert tickets go on sale March 10th for only $10 at State Mutual Stadium or online at Official Home of the Rome Braves. Doors open at 7pm.
