The Orem Owlz have announced the release of their 2007 schedule.
The Owlz will look to improve upon the 2006 season as they finished with the best record in the Pioneer League's South Division. The season begins June 19th at the Home of the Owlz with a three game series against in-state rival Ogden Raptors.
Highlights on the schedule include the traditional Pioneer Day game against the Great Falls White Sox on July 24th and for the first time in team history the Owlz will host an Independence Day game on July 4th against the Ogden Raptors.
"It's great to be able to release the 2007 schedule prior to the New Year," said Owlz general manager Zachary Fraser. "We especially look forward to our 4th and 24th of July home games, and for the opportunity to provide affordable family entertainment for the community on these great holidays."
The Owlz will look to continue their success of competing for a Pioneer League championship, as the team has made the playoffs for 6 consecutive years, winning league titles in 2004 and 2005.
The Owlz 2007 promotional schedule will be released in the spring of 2007. The schedule can be viewed online at
