Scoreboard watching undoubtedly increases throughout the year, but as the season nears its end, glances at opponents' schedules are also escalated.
That applies even to Round Rock, which has a nine-game lead in the PCL's American South division over New Orleans, which in turn leads Oklahoma by a half game for second place.
Here is a look at the remaining schedules for the teams in the American South:
The Express and New Orleans each have 27 games left, while Omaha and Albuquerque have 26. Round Rock has the most home games left with 17. The Zephyrs and the RedHawks have 14 games to play at home, while Albuquerque has 13.
That could play in favor of the Express, which has the third fewest home losses (20) in the PCL behind Salt Lake's 19 and Tucson's 17.
