Royals open thirteen game homestand Thursday night

OMAHA - The Omaha Royals return to Rosenblatt Stadium Thursday, July 13th, opening a 13-game, 12-day homestand with a 7:05 p.m. game vs. the Oklahoma RedHawks. The Royals will host Oklahoma and the Nashville Sounds in a pair of four-game series, followed by a five-game set vs. the Round Rock Express, which is highlighted by Sawyer Brown in concert after the game on Friday, July 21. Here's a rundown of all the promotions on tap:

Thursday, July 13, 7:05 p.m.: It's Thursty Thursday featuring drink specials, courtesy of Miller Brands and Z-92!

Friday, July 14, 7:05 p.m.: It's Fireworks Friday and the 1st Boy Scout Sleepover, presented by PayPal, KETV and US 93.3 FM...plus Dreams Come True and Culver's Pop Up Friday!

Saturday, July 15, 6:05 p.m.: Gates open at 4:00 p.m. and the 1st 1,500 fans receive T-shirts, plus all fans are invited to a player autograph session, courtesy of WOWT and BOB FM!

Sunday, July 16, 1:35 p.m.: It's On-Field Photo Day and Family Fun Day, presented by KPTM-Fox 42. One lucky fan could win a new car from Hyundai. Get a free general admission ticket by bringing a can of Our Family Brands food, which goes to the Omaha Food Bank and the Open Door Mission. Sunday also features the Coca-Cola $30 Family Pack (4 tickets, 4 Cokes and 4 popcorns).

Monday, July 17, 7:05 p.m.: Ther series opener vs. the Sounds is Dollar Dog Night and Military Monday; get $2 off the price of a ticket with a military I.D., courtesy of the Bellevue Leader/OmahaNewsstand.com.

Tuesday, July 18, 7:05 p.m.: It's ValPak 2-for-1 Tuesday; all fans get 2 tickets for the price of 1, plus the 1st 1,000 fans receive a photo of Royals infielder Ricky Bell.

Wednesday, July 19, 7:05 p.m.: It's Women's Wednesday; all women receive $2 off the price of a ticket and one will win a $250 shopping spree.

Thursday, July 20, 12:05 p.m.: features ½ price burgers, courtesy of Omaha Steaks! And it's Seniors Day; all fans 60-and-over get $2 off the price of any ticket, presented by The City Weekly.

Friday, July 21, 6:35 p.m.: the Round Rock series opener is followed by fireworks, then Sawyer Brown in concert, to celebrate Werner Enterprises' 50th Anniversary, presented by Werner Enterprises, KETV and KAT 103!

Saturday, July 22, 4:05 p.m. DOUBLEHEADER: The 1st 1,500 fans receive free seat cushions, courtesy of Ethicon Endo-Surgery, WOWT and 1620 The Zone, plus a players autograph session.
