While Joe Mauer has become the Twins' best player, Justin Morneau their best slugger, Johan Santana their most accomplished star and Francisco Liriano their most spectacular talent, Torii Hunter has remained the face of the franchise.
Hunter owns the biggest and best personality in the clubhouse. He's the Twins' most accessible and engaging player, the guy most likely to singe his eyebrows diving for a ball (he actually did that once) or give himself an inadvertent chiropractic adjustment against the nearest outfield wall.
He's the guy who took it upon himself to take a swing at Justin Morneau last year, even if he did end up hitting Nick Punto.
So now that he's in the last guaranteed year of his contract, what will it take to bring him back to the Metrodome?
