After noticing that Tom Ruane’s original research included stolen bases, I decided to incorporate them into my Value Added Batting Runs Script. Since the numbers I use only span from 2002 to 2004, I used the same time span for stolen bases. The value added for stolen bases are:
Stolen Base: .178
Caught Stealing: -.441
