Starting seems to agree with Kasey Olenberger. The 28-year-old right-hander was used exclusively out of the bullpen in his first eight Venezuelan Winter League appearances but was moved into the rotation on Nov. 7.
Olenberger has won his last three outings for the Pastora de los Llanos, including 7 2/3 scoreless innings on Nov. 24. The 6-foot-4 native of Santa Rosa, Calif., gave up five hits and a walk while striking out a season-high six batters. He has allowed one earned run in his last three starts, covering 18 2/3 innings.
