Bartolo Colon's weigh-in next spring might be one of the more anticipated moments of camp.
The Angels are hoping he gets in better shape over the winter.
"I think it'd be great," Angels general manager Bill Stoneman said. "As a general observation, as guys get older - and we all went through it - it's harder to keep your body in shape. You've got to work harder at it."
Colon, 33, will be attempting to return from a partially torn rotator cuff in his pitching shoulder. Next season is the final year of the four-year, $51 million contract he signed with the Angels in the winter of 2003.
