Have you ever struck up a nice, long conversation with someone in a doctor's waiting room (or wherever)? Things start out perfectly normal, but after 10-15 minutes the guy reveals that he was abducted by aliens the night before, and now the government is after him? You then realize the guy is completely insane, and you think to yourself "oh, I'm sorry - I thought you were normal."
