Hi, I am getting a Demarini Vexxum. At first i was going to buy the 07 version tomorrow but then I came across the 08 Vexxum, it really caught my eye. I just want a bit of feedback on which you think is the best. Peferably from people who have used the 2.

I have used both the '08 and the '07 models.
In my opinion, I would choose the '08 model. To me it has more pop. I have hit more hard liners with the '08 then the '07 but they are both great bats.

Demarini bats are good but only last 1 season. I have been told this by a guy who knows his bats and I witnessed a Demarini only last 1 season. Personally, if your going to buy a good bat like that, I recomend the Easton Stealth. I have personal experience with it and it is a great bat and its going strong.

I've used both these bats and they are basically the same. In my opinion, the '08 is better looking. One other difference between the two is the grip where I personally prefer the '08 again. If you do get a composite bat though, don't second guess your decision too quickly because it takes at least 200 pitches for those comp bats to get broken in. Just so you know I have only used the '08 a little but I used the '07 a lot. I think the '08 has the edge but not by much.

I also have both. The 08 version definitely has a lot more pop than the 07 version. There are times if you can just get it on the barrel and just get a decent swing on it, the ball will rocket off the bat. Great bat if you ask me.
