has anyone heard of a coach having a hit by a pitch sign? is this common?

lol um i dont think its common in little league...i played little league when i was little and never heard of it...even in all stars, where it was all or nothing i never heard of that...im currently a senior in high school and we dont have one on our team...

If the ump notices that you have a sign to do that. You may get fined and kicked out of the league.

Nah the little league is all about sportmanship..
It would be terrible if a coach tells little kids to do that..
+ the kids know when the right it's the right to hit a batter better then any1..:P

My daughter plays in traveling softball and we have played alot of teams that coach's have asked the girl's to "take one for the team" Most of them either have signs or just pull them out of the batter's box and tell them out right.

my coach is a horrible one! he doesnt know anything!!! yesterday he told me to crowd the plate and almost stand on it and lean over it too
