The little boys in the bright blue Royals hats hop out of the SUV, baseball mitts already on their left hands, ready to play ball with their new friends.

Their uniforms have been on more than an hour now. Kids aren’t patient, you know, and baseball is more than just a game to these boys. Someday, they hope baseball will be their profession. Right now, they’re happy that baseball has been their way into American life.
