Somewhat lost in the shuffle in the events of last week was the curious news out of Kauffman Stadium that the Royals were raising ticket prices for 2007.

OK, so it wasn’t a major hike, but it was an increase across the board, ranging from $1 to $25 depending on the seat.

Maybe it’s not a good sign that there wasn’t more of an uproar. Maybe that’s an indication that Royals fans are feeling a bit too beat up these days to even muster a fight.
