General manager Dayton Moore doesn’t expect to be changing managers as part of his ongoing overhaul to rebuild the Royals into a competitive franchise.
“I’m very comfortable with Buddy Bell,” Moore said before Wednesday’s game against the White Sox at Kauffman Stadium.
“I haven’t had a chance to sit down and talk with everybody. Those evaluations are done in the offseason. But I can make this very, very clear: Buddy and I are developing a very trusting relationship.
“I’m very pleased and encouraged at the way he’s embraced the changes that have occurred in the clubhouse.”
