Proving that not much changes in 24 hours, the Royals dropped the first game of the post Pena era to the Blue Jays 12-9. The game was by all acounts ugly and one look at the box score confirms that. To sum up the ugliness, the Royals committed 2 errors (Teahen and Castillo), issued 11 walks, and were caught stealing twice (Berroa and Teahen). That is no way to win a game.
